Aku-Tonpa is one of the most popular folk heroes in Tibetan folklore. His exploits are full of laughter and humour. Though known by different names in different parts of Tibet, in Nedhong province of Tibet, he is known as Nyichoe Zangpo. There are some eight episodes in the book, each will evoke good laughter. As the English translation may have its own shortcomings in delivering the true flavour of the jokes and humour, Tibetan text is also available in the book. The book is therefore bilingual with rich illustrations.
