Prof.(Dr) Bishnupriya Mohanty is working as a teacher in the area of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhanta since 20 years & presently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhant Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Research centre, Shiroda, Goa. She has completed her MD ( and awarded PhD from prestigious Institution e Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda, the cent of Excellence in Ayurveda, Gujarat Ayurveda University: Jamnagar, Gujarat. Dr. Mohanty published 05 papers in the reputed journals and 08 full papers in seminar proceedings and serving as an editorial board member and Advisory board member of repute journals. Delivered many lecture in various National & International Institutes, Conferences & Scientific forums. She also published 01 book contributed significantly for MD and PhD scholars research work as a supervisor as well as co-supervisor.
Prof.(Dr) Sangram Keshari Das is working as a teacher in the area of Sanskrit Samhita and Siddhanta since 18 years & presently working as Professor and Head of the Department of Department of Dravyaguna Vijnana at Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Research centre. Shiroda, Goa. He has completed his MD (Ay) from University of Calcutta and awarded PhD from Sambalpur University. Odisha. He also served as a member to Food and Drug Administration, Goa State. Dr Das has awarded with prestigious-Dewang Mehta National Award as Best Professor Pharmacological studies 2019. National Best Teacher Award in Dravyaguna Vijnana 2021 by Ayurveda Teachers Association of India, Goa State Biodiversity Award for Applied Biodiversity Research 2021 and many more. Delivered many lecture in various National & International Institutes, Conferences & Scientific forums. He contributed significantly for MD and PhD scholars research work as a supervisor as well as co-supervisor.
Prof.(Dr) Parameswarappa S. Byadgi is working as a teacher in the area of Roga Nidan (Ayurvedic diagnostics) since 19 years. Dr Byadgi began his teaching since 2000 and has been writing books and publishing many articles. Dr. Byadgi earned BAMS degree in the year 1995(UG) and completed internship in the year 1997, post graduate degree in the year 2000(PG) and post doctor degree in the year 2003(PhD). Dr Byadgi published 145 papers in the reputed journals and 33 full papers in seminar proceedings and serving as an editorial board member and Advisory board member of repute journals. Delivered many lecture in various National & International Institutes, Conferences & Scientific forums. He also published 16 books and wrote 46 chapters in a book and contributed significantly for MD and PhD scholars research work as a supervisor as well as co-supervisor. Author received many awards & honors for his excellent contribution in the field of Roga Nidan & Kayachikitsa. Presently working as Professor & Head in the Department of Vikriti Vigyan. With growing civilization and industrial development the medical facilities for public Health has glorified. The number game in between doctor and patient ratio also has been tried to increase by almost all countries. This has always being addressed as progress of medical service through new drugs and their delivery system.
Another side disease morbidity and mortality has also been a part of our progress. Routine non-communicable diseases like obesity, diabetes, hypertension, skin problem are affecting our society like demon. Any person from any country, even before the age of 40 starts to feel as if he/she just exists not living. The fear of such non-communicable dis eases has taken away our piece of happiness. Specific non-communicable diseases like Alzheimer. Parkinson's affecting people towards the retirement age like a retirement gift. Every year with certain interval infectious or communicable diseases drastically affects health and kills people in any numbers. Was it a civilization we were expecting from such development with the name of modernization or industrialization? Are we really civilized and living in a civil society? How we can learn about self actualization and lead a disease free life? How one can achieve the majestic death by practicing principles of Ayurveda ?

22 March 2020 our country was declared the corona virus outbreak under lockdown. Initially, there was a lack of clarity in streamlining what an "essential" is and what is not. A large number of people around the country who grow perishables also faced uncertainty. It became a greatest challenge in front of all population. Whole world suffered this as Pandemic. Experts across the Globe start to share their ideas of prevention, protection and curative majors. Everybody was trained for a New Normal, which includes
1. Quarantine-Strict isolation (room/unit/wing/building). 2. Surgical masks and N-95 masks - Protect Self 3. Wear full protective gear-to protect Ownselves. 4. Minimize contacts 5. Full PPE (if available) at working site. 6. Try healthy promoting behaviors-In-home exercise routines. 7. Trying out health-conscious recipes - Meditation. journaling. Good food. Yoga. Pranayam etc. 8. Stay active and maintain stressors-Know your numbers (Blood pressure, blood sugar, body mass index) 9. Limit trips outside of the home. 10. "Source Control"-Protect Others 11. Through different guidelines of prevention and treatment protocol, this disease was tried to keep under control. Now also all these are active. With these all precautionary management more than three crores of people get affected by COVID 19 in a range of Mild-Moderate and severity. Up to 53% of businesses in the country were projected to be significantly affected. Supply chains have been put under stress with the lockdown. It is also true that more than four lakh people died with this disease. Cases are still present like silent stressor in society. |
