The present book is compiled into four chapters which deal with educational assessment, psychological testing, and student consultation in elementary and secondary schools. This area is practiced by a school psychologist who often collaborates with educators, families, school leaders, community members, and other professionals to create safe and supportive school environments. School psychologists are prepared to intervene at the individual and system levels, and develop, implement and evaluate programs to promote positive learning environments for children and youth from diverse backgrounds, and to ensure equal access to effective educational and psychological services that promote health development.
