Narahari's Dipika (14th Century A.D.) is probably the earliest Tika upon Naisadhiyacaritam of Sriharsa to be written in South India, for which he himself speaks of the absence of other commentaries in the benedictory verse (No.6) of his present work. The most striking feature of it is that it avoids unnecessary paraphrasing, very lucid and concise in nature. For the critically edited with the help of as many as eighteen manuscripts.
