ABOOUT THE BOOK:
The present book ‘Recent Perspectives on Indian Art, Architecture and Archaeology’ contains twenty-three articles written by erudite scholars from India and abroad. It has two sections viz., archaeology; art and architecture.
It deals with the prehistoric cultures, ancient technologies, coinage and epigraphy. It throws fresh light on the methodology of the study of narrative art and also the technical hermeneutics terms. It highlights the eco-friendly nature of Indian art, new aspects on symbols and attributes of deities, unique Siva images, architectural features, etc.

ABOUT THE EDITOR:
Dr. N. Krishna Reddy (b. 1959) is presently working as a Professor in the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. His field of specialization is epigraphy, cultural history and art history of India. He has edited six books and have 80 research papers in various reputed journals in his credit. He has attended 65 national and international conferences/ seminars and presented research papers. He received awards and rewards for his academic excellence. He is Former Head and BoS Chairman of the Department and served as Member BoS of various universities. He is associated with many academic bodies. Presently, he is one of the editor of the proceedings of the Andhra Pradesh History Congress. |
