ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Dr. (Mrs.) Renu Singh obtained her Ph.D. degree from Rajasthan University, Jaipur in year 2009. She worked as Principal Investigator (PI), WOS-A, DST in Department of Botany, University of Gujarat, Ahmedabad-380009. She has 12 years research experience especially in medicinal plants field. She has 20 research articles, 4 book chapters and 2 books to her credit. She has participated in several National and International conferences. Presently, she is working as Managing Director at Plants and Life (P&L), medicinal plants research based NGO, Ahmedabad-382424, Gujarat.
Ms. Ancy J. Fernandes obtained her B.Sc. degree in Botany from St. Xavier’s College, Ahmedabad with distinction in the year 2012 along with a one year career oriented course on Landscaping and Gardening. M.Sc. and M. Phil. degrees have been obtained in the year 2014 and 2016 respectively from Department of Botany, University of Gujarat, Ahmedabad. She is working as visiting faculty for the subject of Botany at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Ahmedabad as well as a registered Ph. D student in Department of Botany, University of Gujarat. Phytochemistry and biological efficacies of medicinal plants are core topic for her research work. She has participated in several seminars and conferences. She has 3 research articles and 1 book chapter to her credit. |
