ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
T.K. Chatterjee, the former UGC (Govt. of India ) Research Scientist and retired Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has been dynamically engaged in Pharmacological and Toxicological research and teaching for the past three decades. Presently, he is holding the post Dean at JIS University, Kolkata.
He is the author of more than 140 research papers in journals of National and International repute and has written multiple books entitled "Handbook on Laboratory Mice and Rats" (1993), "Herbal Options" (1st edition 1996, 2nd edition 1997, 3rd edition 1999), "Chemotherapy of Tropical Parasitic Infection" (1st edition 1995, 2nd 1999), "Skin Diseases and Treatment" (1st edition 1999), "A handbook of Pharmacology” (2011). “Pharmacological Properties of Coccania grandis”(2012) “Medicinal Plant Abrus precatorious L.” (2012), “Anti-Diabetic Plant Steospermum Suaveolens (Roxb.) DC” (2012), “Rodents for Pharmacological Experiments” (2013), “Antioxidant and Anti-Diabetic Activities of Polyalthia longifolia Leaves” (2013), “Databook for Clinical Pharmacology” (2014) and “Quintessence of Pharmacovigilance” (2017) have attracted widespread appreciation from various organizations of Pharmaceutical & Medical communities.
