DESCRIPTION
The Buddhist linkages between India and Vietnam offers seventeen papers, presented at the Hanoi International Conference from 6th-8th April 2011 under the auspices of Indian Council for Cultural Relations(Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi), and presents the dialogue between outstanding Vietnamese and Indian scholars, re-enforced by contributions of experts from Sri Lanka, Thailand, Cambodia and China, unfolding various facets of cultural exchange through Buddhist thought, philosophy, art, architecture and ideology of social change and development.
