In this work Dr. Sanjeev Kumar B. Nirmalkar has traced the socio-economic condition of the Devadasis in India in general and particularly the status of the Devadasis in Hyderabad Karnataka region. He is also interested in creating the awareness programmes for the devadasis. He is deeply interested to know the basic problems of the Devadasis existing in Hyderabad Karnataka and also believes in bringing out the suitable solutions for improving their existing conditions. As it is one of the burning topic so in this regard he has come across many case studies and also put forth to the government to make some changes and establish more rehabilitation centers for this so called affected women's.
