This book is unique in that as it reviews common, useful information about laparoscopic hernia repair, including technique and instruments, and then discusses common difficulties faced during laparoscopic hernia surgery. Almost all the available techniques of laparoscopic repair of hernia are described in a way that the surgeon with the minimum resources can perform this challenging surgery. We have discussed the uncommon and occasionally even complicated cases of hernia and the safest ways to deal with them by minimal access surgical technique. We have also described some of the indigenous techniques in this book so that surgeons can perform the hernia surgery with the help of intracorporeal sutures and for the fixation of mesh they do not have to depend upon the expensive implants and glues.
