This book is suffused with intellectual contributions made by scholars and university teachers on varied themes relating to socio economic political cultural and linguistic issues facing the marginalized groups including Dalits, women, tribals and other underprivileged sections of Indian society. It theorizes how the majority people have been oppressed, marginalized and even othered by the dominant upper caste few for centuries, it also examines how the underprivileged have been systematically deprived of their equal rights to the legitimate enjoyment of natural resources available in India.
