Every religion after its origin gradually develops and many schools of thought and philosophy arise. In fact, two major branches of Buddhism are recognized: Theravada (The school of the elders) and Mahayana (the great vehicle).
In the present work we have put light on various schools of Buddhistic philosophy and important canons (scriptures). Definitely, this will serve the purpose of one and all concerned. |
