The HIV/AIDS pandemic is entering a new more dangerous phase. As the global threat increase, there are many sign of growing complacency persistence denial and resurgent discrimination. A creative revitalization of effort against AIDS is needed. This book bring together current knowledge of HIV/AIDS, it explores the complexities of the issue challenges thrown up by the contemporary situation in India.
This book is the outcome of the conclusion of a study of about 300 social work students form different universities, the basic objective is to evaluate the knowledge and attitude towards HIV/AIDS. This book also offers examples of government action that has been taken to combat this disease.
