National Institute of Health in USA has established a special division called National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine in - Washington. DC. This center promotes research in various alternative medical systems. Also in UK various Institutes like British College of Integrated Medicine they are running their separate Complementary and Alternative Centers. We are fortunate to have Ayurveda as our heritage. Need of the hour is to explore it through research or publication. People they want to know more about Ayurveda and energy healing power that is chakras. This is the basic need of hook. This book will mainly cover about chakras, energy field, balanced & unbalanced chakras, some healing exercises for chakras and kundilni and its relation with chakras has been discussed. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Dr. Pooja Sabharwal from Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar Punjab, M.D. (Avu.) from National Institute of Ayurveda, PGDHM, PCAST, CFN. At present she is giving her services at Shri Dhanvantri Ayurvedic College and Dabur Hospital, Chandigarh as Lecturer cum CMO. She has done her thesis entitled "Anatomical study of shadchakras and structural and genetic changes in abdomino pelvic ca- an indigenous approach for the side effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy". She has conducted this study in Radiotherapy Department SMS Medical College and Hospital, Jaipui The end results of above work are satisfactory and proved to be beneficial in prevention and complication of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment. She has presented in various international and national seminars. |
