The female labour force constitutes one third of the rural workers in India. Women workers face serious problems and constraints related to work such as lack of continuity, insecurity, wage discriminatino, unhealthy job relationship, absence of medical and accident care etc. The plight of rural women is hard to bear with. It is in this context the book tries to bring out some real world solutions. Health, Education, Domestic violence are some of the major issuess that challenges the survival of Indian rural women.
