Section VI on Bird Resources (chapter 24) deals with threatened/rare birds of Manipur. Section VII on Technology for Sustainable Economic Development (chapter 25-28) deals with a Azolla as biofertilizer, Endemic orchids conservation, diversity of non-timber forest products and their management, and diversity in traditional fermented foods and beverages. Thus, the volume encompasses a wide range of bioresources of India, their conservation and sustainable development. |
