Nanostructure Science and Technology is a book which has been written to cater to the need for a reliable handbook on the science of nanotechnology, and how nanostructural devices are made, their implications from consequences. U.S. scientists have already etched from silicon an electron motor that is smaller than 0,1 mm wide and have made workable gears with a diameter less than a human hair. Though as of yet not developed fully, nanotechnology looks all set forward to usher in a new scientific era. Incorporating numerous sciences, including molecular chemistry, structural physics etc., it is also multi-disciplinary in nature, fuelling its future prospects as the single most powerful branch of science.
