This book, "Atlas animal genetic resources of india", is an original work through a collective efforts of the authors who temeselves carried out the phenotypic and genetic characterization of breeds of different liverent livestock and poultry species. The book is based on review of published and unpublished and unpublished information on different breeds, compilation of own date collected by the authors through field based studies.
