Occupation in the traditional segment of the Urban Informal Sector like craft production involves particularistic skills derived largely from family and kinship network with greater continuity of culture, which may not be found in the non-traditional counterparts. Craft production is seen to be an obvious job performance, which cannot be anyone's cup of tea, in the sence that in order to qualify as an artisan, one must know the techniques of production.
