Environmental pollution is a burning topic of the day. Air, Water and Soil are being polluted alike. Soil being a 'universal sink' bears the greatest burden of environmental pollution. Soil may get polluted by a number of ways but it is interesting that soil is still the only place where crops can be produced. But the question is whether such soils could be used for production? Could the pollution on soil be minimized? What could be the planning and management for such soil? This book perhaps provides answers to all such questions. It is hoped that soil pollution studies would open new vistas.
