It is rather pity, that neither they, nor the legal profession by and large are aware of such provisions. They are so scattered all over and to get them is a herculian task. They include diverse provisions like law of litigation, limitations, matters of arrest, choice of courts inheritance, houses, pensions, legal assistance for those involved in litigation, civil employment and host other benefits like monetary rewards for gallantry award winners, grant of land, war jagirs, reservations of vacancies, priority in litigation and the like. Unfortunately, neither they are available at one source nor there is any ready reckoner gudie.
This book makes an attempt to bridge this gap and explain such legal provisions in simple words, easily understood by a service man. To add to the value, case law has also been added at the end of each chapter. Hope the book will serve as a ready-reckoner and meet the purpose for which it is intended.
