The historic rebellion in 1857 is a significant landmark in the annals of Indian rule-continent. Several causes have been attributed to this great event during the last days of the rule of the East India Company. The rebellion spread like wild-fire in several regions and the Indian soldiers and civil population showed much patriotic zeal and enthusiam. The role of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi, Tatya Topi and numerous others is really remarkable and highly appreciable. The Chapters are eleven in number.
