Global Encyclopaedia of Education probes and critically assess key concepts in education, to present complete and coherent understanding of education enterprises as a whole. To a extent it is an encyclopaedia of contemporary educational discourse. The four volumes contain 225 entries by 200 leading experts, and cover words, ideas and issues of prime importance. Entries from programmed learning, behaviour objectives, multi-culturalism have clear relevance to practitioners as well as researchers and theoreticians.
