An Indepth study incorporating all the major aspects of groundwater exploration, development ad exploitation for a large urban conglomerate in the Indo-Gangetic Plain has been presented in this book to serve as a case study for the region as a whole. The text covers the application of exploration techniques ad evaluation of the results in determining aquifer parameters, water quality, well efficiency, well loss ad mathematical modeling for drawdown in the well field. An appraisal of the existing water supply system has also been included with specific recommendation.
