DESCRIPTION
The present anthology of research articles is a modest survey of the trends and techniques in Indian poetry in English in recent times. The book examines Indian English Poetry in terms of the contexts, language and poetic forms. Major poets and their new counterparts are discussed and many of their poems come in for contemporary readings. The new generation of poets [including the poets of Indian diasporas] with their plurality of expressive modes and strategies noticeably reflect a new sensibility.
