The purpose of this study is to place in the hands of the academics a compendium highlighting the landmark advances in the growth and development of knowledge. The work examines the nature of knowledge, the methods of acquiring it, the dynamic attributes and classification of knowledge. The study evaluates the process of knowledge growth and discusses the various agencies involved in the production and distribution of knowledge.
