This book population geography is a study of all those factors which are responsible for the unexpected growth of population which has become a global issue. Population geographies tries to find out the geographical factors of uneven distribution of population. The main theme of book is to find out 'Where, how and why' population exist. They study these variations in density of people and closely related 'population explosion.' There are a number of places where there is more density of population and there are some places where less. According to population geographers population density would be only about fifty-five people per square mile. Definitely there are some factors behind it. Most cultural geographers feels that the uneven spatial distribution of people is a vitally important phenomenon, an it provides us an important point of departure for our study of cultural geography.
