The book examines the problem of trafficking of children for the purpose of commercial sexual exploitation (hereafter reffered to as CSE) and describes the framework within which this exploitation takes place. Additionally, it feature a brief review of the various rescue and rehabilitation initiatives by the Government as well as Non-Governmental Sector. This chapter also contains a review of various national and international policies as well as laws of the country pertaining to trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. The book ends with an overview of the definitions used within the study.
