DESCRIPTION
Diary farming is an age-old subsidiary profession in tribal area of Madhya Pradesh. It supplements and complements the crop farming system in many ways. This profession enables tribal community by providing employment, income and nutritional food security. Operation flood brought about white revolution in India. While National Dairy Development Board envisaged spreading the 'Amul Pattern' dairy cooperative throughout the milk sheds of the country, Madhya Pradesh government made an earnest beginning to include thirteen tribal dominated district under MPDCF to ameliorate the condition of poor tribal people.
