Print Media, in India, is one of the biggest industries of the country. The reasons are many. One of them is the diversity of cultures and languages. Eighteen languages are recognised by the Government of India, which have their presence on the currency notes. Newspapers and periodicals are published in all national and regional languages with varying circulations, touching the lakh or even a million marks. Although electronic media has taken over, yet, its usefulness and importance cannot be ignored outright. In moments of distress, gloom or travelling, a magazine or a newspaper is the best companion, with no noise or disturbance or any peripheral devices.
