Effective and successful teachers are the foundation stones of national development. It is rightly said that the future of a nation can be seen in its schools and educational institutions. Institutional environment plays an important role in the performance of the institution, its teachers as well as the students studying in these institutions. Institutional enviroment varies from isntitution to institution, dependingupon the relationships that exists between the leader of the institution and his/her subordinates. The present work has analysed the organizational climate of kendriya Vidyalayas. Attitutdes of teacher serving therein; and has studied the relationship between teacher' attitude and organizational climate and their influence on students performance. It demonstrates how students performance was an outcome of the combined efforts of teachers, student as well as the relationship pattern between teachers and the head of the schools.
