Tribal people of India contribute a lion's share in the total populationof the country, so the Govt. has to pay primary attention for the development. They contribute more than 8 percent of the total population of the country. At present there are more than 250 scheduled tribes with several sub-troup speaking more than 100 languages. They have their seprate social culture, customs, traditions, marriage style, and living standard. They are economically poor and far away from the modern technology. They are mostly dependent upon the forest products.
