Half of the human population consists of women. Though accorded a prominent place verbally (may be in scriptures, poetry, legends and stories), almost in all societies women have been treated as weaker sex. They faces discrimination in all walks of life. Though women have made debut in various fields and proved their mettle at international level, they still meet atrocities and discrimination of one sort or other.
