Unique, Collectors Items, signed by Dr. R H van Gulik in Tokyo on 27th of June, 1938 including personal note related to the mevrouw Van Roijen (wife of Minister Van Roijen). The book is well preserved with black and white illustrations. This is a monograph on the great Song Dynasty poet and artist, Mi Fu (1051-1107) and a translation of his treatise on ink-stones by the eminent Dutch diplomat and Sinologist, Dr. R H van Gulik.
