The present book compiles four essays, reflecting on educational theories. While discussing educational theories, we have taken two types of theorists - first, those who are concerned with schools and draws much of their theories from actual school experience, and secondly, those who deal with education in a broader view than that of the schools. No doubt, the second group has a wider and longer influence than the first one. The topics viz. educational theorists and theories; The intellectual and moral revolution in education; Plato, the educational philosopher; Aristotle and the cultivation of character; etc., will prove of interest to the scholars and laymen alike.
