Man is a social animal and he cannot remain isolated and as such interacts with other human groups. It is highly important for children to understand the Society in which they live. There are all sorts of societies nowadays in the world, the Industrial Society, the Agrarian Societies and the under developed Societies. When a child is born in a Society he has to come up through education and improve the society also, i.e. there is relationship of teaching and learning with social development.
