DESCRIPTION
Secondary education is the terminal point for most of the students. After passing secondary school examinations, the students like to enter the world of work. Generally secondary school examinations are conducted by the examination boards constituted by the governments of the states concerned. The fact of differences in school achievement, and the search for an explanation of those differences, is one of the most complex and, at the present time, one of the most controversial issues in education today. It has been the focus of numerous researchers and the topic of many government reports; not only in this country, but in most of the industrialized and industrializing countries of the world. Yet in spite of an impressive bibliography we are still almost as far from reaching an understanding of the actual process of school achievement as we were ten years ago.
