DESCRIPTION
A philosophy of science teaching is made up of the aims and objectives of teaching in general and of science teaching in particular. In order for a teacher to have an adequate and intelligent foundation for efficient administration of a class, a thorough back ground in educational philosophy is necessary. Such a foundation enables a teacher to exercise wise judgment in all activities which take place in the class room. This can be called a "long view" which enables a teacher to see and keep in mind the aims which are attempted to be reached by means of the activity in operation at any particular time.
