DESCRIPTION
Unlike the Westker Political Thinkers, the Modern Indian Political Thinkers is not the outcome of efforts of Indian Political Scientists and Philosophers. Instead it owes its origin and gradual development to saints. Seers, social reformers and political leaders. However, there is nothing to feel apologistic about it. Old order changeth yielding place to new. With the passage of time, political maturity is apt to dawn and Indian Professors of Political science are bout to develop requisite philosophical discovery of original Indian Political Thinkers. Here is a modest attempt. An effort has been made to treat the thinkers of identical views in one strain. It has therefore, not been in the fitness of things to arrange the chapters strictly in chronological order thought it has been kept in view to the extent possible.
