The present book the Solar Return comprises the subject matter developed by Yavanacharya. Acharya means Guru and Guru of the Yavanas'. The word Yavana was used for the Persians and Arabs - the people from the west (Arabia & Persia) who attacked India a number of times and that made the scholars seek asylum in Tibet with their monumental works - to save and preserve the sanctity of these books of Mantras, Shastra, spiritualism, Astrology etc. However, in the early spiritualism, Astrology etc. However, in the early 3000 B.C. This present book deals with the calculation of the Solar Return chart, the house divisions, aspects, and attributes of the signs and planets, and with the Lord of the year. It deals with Muntha, with the sixteen yogas (very important for arriving at conclusions regarding Solar Returns), the sensitive points, with a special technique called Tripataka Chakra, with the timing events and with interpretation and delineation. This present book is simple, easy to understand and does not rely on rigorous mathematical calculations. For easy references various tables are given. The different yogas have been well illustrated by example charts.
