The Work has been divided into eight parts, viz: 1 Description of the preparation of drugs and or the manner in which they are use in different diseases. 2. Classification and description of inorganic bodies. 3. Zoological classification and description of animals. 4. Botanical classification description of plants. 5. Classification founded on physiological effects of drugs. 6. An alphabetical classification of diseases with the number refering to the prescriptions given in the body of the work. 7. An alphabetical classification of drugs used as subsitutes for other or English drugs: and 8. An alpphabetical classification of drugs used as specific in certain diseases.
