DESCRIPTION |
|
As environment and development go together, we cannot stop one for the other. Thus, to a great extent Environmental Crisis is the outcome of developmental processes and activities. The environmental crisis could be better handled by protection of natural resources and environment from pollution in the new millennium only by administrative, legislative, scientific and judicial measures and by living with nature. The present book contains well researched articles, penned by experts in the field. Organised under six sections, namely -- Forestry, biodiversity and conservation; Water contamination and fisheries; Microbiology and biochemistry; Ecology and environmental sciences; Appropriate technology; and Abstracts, this book contains 28 articles besides abstracts etc. |
