Medak one of the 10 districts of Telangana region of Andhara Pradesh has forests, which are of the southern tropical dry deciduous type account for 9.9% of the total geographical area. In the present study a total of 956 field numbers have been collected and identified species belonging to 410 genera and 118 families.
