This textbook id intended ti fill a dual role. First, it should be useful as a manual along with the upper division collage course in social studies for the secondary school; second it could serve some of the needs of the social studies teachers in service, as a reference to a curricular practices, recent materials and as an attempt to make a whole patter out of the welter of human experience.
