The theme has deep bearing on the rulers, administration and diplomacy of the Jaipur State. They had to face numerous problems internally and externally. In fact they had to deal with the Mughals, Marathas, the British and other powers. All these events have been highlighted in the nineteen chapters which deal with the administration of Man Singh, Jai Singh, Ishwari Singh, Ram Singh and Sawai Madho Singh. Their diplomacy was unique in the annals of our history.
