This book exposed one glaring misconcept of mediaeval historical texts and tourist guide books. Visitors to the Red Fort in Agra and students and scholars of history are being made to believe and propagate that the Red Fort in Agra was built by the 16th century Mogul ruler Akbar. This is a falsehood. The Red Fort in Agra which the 20th century visitor sees was built in the pre-Christian era by the then Hindu rulers. Alien Muslim invaders only conquered and occupied it. Ancient Hindu rulers like Ashok and Kanishka held court in the so-called Diwan-i-Aam of the fort and held counsel with their advisers in the so-called Diwan-i-Khas. Those are ancient Hindu royal apartments late appropriated by Muslim conquerors. All this has been proved in this book.
