General Psychology is prescribed as a compulsory subject for undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees of Psychology in every university of India. Though a number of books have been written by Indian and Forign authors on this subject, still a need is felt for a comprehensive volume, based on authontic studies, both Indian and Western.
