UNESCO, giving great improtant to the efficient collection and disseminiation of distance education information for sharing experience and resources, has requested the National Institude of Multimedia Education, Japan to condust a 'Survey of Distance Educatation in Asia and the Pacific. The result of the survey are presented, in this bookk, in two parts country papers and surveys of distance education institutions in each country.
