In this work, the author makes a genuine and scholarly attempt to explore the unknown recesses of Tamil Civilization, which finds expression in the epigraphical records. I am very glad that the author has brought various dimensions of Tamil Civilization very elegantly and also I must say very elegantly and I am sure that it is a treasure- house of golden thoughts.
