The present publication has been compiled to meet the needs of students of medical sciences at all levels. It has been difficult to decide the limits of medical science as subject. The terms and definition have been frequently presented in brief or functional phrases. All the terms are arranged alphabetically and an attempt has also been made to write them in a clear and lucid style to provide both straight forward definitions and invaluable background informations.
